Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Client Engagement, the Senior Events Executive is responsible for shaping, planning and delivering Sisk's event programme across internal and external multi-sector audiences in Ireland, the UK and additional international territories. The role acts as Sisk's central events lead, ensuring events are strategically aligned to business priorities, client engagement objectives, brand reputation and stakeholder relationship plans, while bringing structure, governance, reporting and delivery discipline to the programme.

Responsibilities

  • Event Purpose and Relationship Governance
    • Event strategy and planning, including assessing event requests against strategic priorities, relationship objectives, available budget, reputational considerations and expected value
  • Event Delivery (primarily as the lead or a key member of an organising team)
  • Stakeholder and relationship management, including senior leader hosts, family representatives, client relationship owners, charity or partner contacts, suppliers and internal contributors
  • Budget, reporting and evaluation, including event registers, invitation rationale, hospitality records, supplier costs, post-event assessments, relationship outcomes, follow-up actions and evidence of value delivered
  • Maintain accurate invitation, RSVP, attendance and follow-up data to support CRM, client intelligence, relationship planning and business development activity

Experience

  • Proven experience leading complex corporate events, hospitality or stakeholder engagement programmes, ideally across multiple business units, geographies or senior stakeholder groups
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Highly competent in Microsoft 365 packages - Word, Excel, Planner and Lists - with ability to maintain accurate trackers, registers, CRM inputs and event data for reporting purposes
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is an advantage
