Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford are located in the vibrant Stratford area of East London within Westfield Stratford City, one of Europe's largest urban shopping and entertainment destinations.

Dining experiences include Elondi Restaurant & Bar, offering modern British dishes inspired by the vibrant spirit of East London and crafted using locally sourced ingredients. Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Groups & Events team, you will play a key role in managing the planning and coordination of groups, meetings and events from confirmation through to execution. You will work closely with clients and hotel departments to ensure every event is delivered seamlessly while supporting revenue growth and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration, planning and execution of group bookings, meetings and events, ensuring all details are accurately coordinated.
  • Produce event documentation including proposals, contracts, event orders and group overviews in line with Hyatt standards.
  • Conduct client show rounds and build strong relationships by providing knowledgeable and professional guidance throughout the planning process.
  • Manage event diaries and function space to maximise revenue opportunities and optimise occupancy.
  • Prepare, review and distribute banquet event orders (BEOs), ensuring all event information is accurate and communicated effectively across departments.
  • Support and lead BEO meetings, ensuring all operational teams are fully briefed on upcoming events.
  • Utilise hotel systems to manage bookings, maintain accurate records and ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling hotel products and services.
  • Monitor event deposits, payments, invoicing and post-event settlements to ensure accurate financial administration.
  • Build strong relationships across the hotel, ensuring a seamless transition of event information and exceptional event delivery.

About You

You will have previous experience in an Events Planning or similar role, ideally within a hotel environment, with a proven ability to coordinate events from planning through to delivery. Familiarity with hotel sales, event management or booking systems would be advantageous.

A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering a high level of guest service. You will enjoy building relationships with clients and colleagues alike and have the ability to identify commercial opportunities that contribute to achieving revenue targets.
