Shape the future of executive support at Cynergy Bank.

Join us as a Senior Executive Assistant and become a trusted partner at the heart of Cynergy Bank. Supporting our most senior leaders and helping connect our Executive Assistant community, you will have the opportunity to influence how executive support is delivered across the Bank.

This is a high-profile role for an accomplished Executive Assistant who combines exceptional organisational skills with sound judgement, discretion and a passion for improving how people work.

What’s the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer, you will provide proactive, high-quality executive support to the CEO, Chairperson, Board and senior Executive Committee stakeholders.

Alongside this core responsibility, you will act as a visible lead across our Executive Assistant community, building stronger connections, championing consistent standards and helping create a cohesive executive support service.

This is not a formal people management position. Your impact will come through influence, credibility, coaching and leading by example. You will also help the function embrace AI and digital tools thoughtfully, identifying practical ways to improve planning, communication, workflow management and meeting effectiveness while maintaining the discretion and governance expected within a regulated bank.

Where You Will Work

This role is based in our Central London office and has a greater on-site requirement than our standard hybrid working model.

You will work:

  • Four days each week in the office
  • One day each week from home
  • Five days in the office during one week each month, to support Board coverage

The successful candidate must be comfortable working within this pattern, reflecting the highly visible and relationship-led nature of the role.

Why Join Us?

We know the best people want more than just a job. At Cynergy Bank, you will find:

  • Influence: Work closely with the CEO, Chairperson, Board and senior leaders, with the opportunity to improve how executive support operates across the Bank.
  • Innovation: Help shape the practical and responsible use of AI and digital tools within the Executive Assistant community.
  • Variety: Operate across executive priorities, Board and Committee activity, communications, events, governance and business-wide initiatives.
  • Growth: Strengthen your leadership profile through influence, coaching and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Rewards: A competitive salary and benefits package designed to recognise your skills and contribution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
