About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and trusted Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO to support the ETAC CEO and senior leadership team. This is a senior-level role responsible for representing the CEO and CFO in Winnipeg when they are away, providing operational leadership and ensuring seamless coordination across all departments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, coordinating across departments, supporting decision-making, and ensuring continuity of management across the organization. This position requires broad operational knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Act on behalf of the CEO in managing day-to-day operations when executive leadership is not on site.
  • Coordinate and oversee work across departments including HR, Finance, Warehouse/Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Provide leadership support to management teams and assist with decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Monitor operational performance, priorities, and deadlines to ensure business continuity.
  • Support HR-related matters, including coordination with management on staffing, policies, and internal processes.
  • Assist with financial oversight tasks such as expense coordination, approvals, and internal reporting support.
  • Liaise between the CEO, senior management, and department lead to ensure clear communication and follow-through.
  • Prepare internal reports, summaries, and updates for executive review.
  • Coordinate meetings, leadership discussions, and follow-up actions as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive company matters.

Requirements

  • Significant professional experience in management, operations, or executive-level support roles; 10+ years preferred.
  • Proven experience managing or overseeing teams of 20+ employees.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR, finance, warehouse/operations, marketing, and sales functions.
  • Experience in factory or manufacturing environments is a strong asset.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act independently, make decisions, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Management, or a related field is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • From $65,000, depending on experience.

Language Requirement

  • English required
  • French, Spanish, or Mandarin considered an asset

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
