Job Overview

Brentford FC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Media Executive to join our content team. We are looking for an experienced, strategic and creative individual to lead the planning, creation and delivery of content across our social channels, ensuring we stay ahead of trends and support all areas of the club.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in football social media, ideally gained within the Premier League or a comparable top-flight league, and will bring strong editorial judgement, platform-specific expertise and excellent editing skills to the role. This is a position in which the candidate can have substantial impact on the content strategy, by creating outstanding content themselves and guiding the wider team's output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create original and creative long and short form content across all digital platforms.
  • Be on top and ahead of social media trends, tailoring content and copy to the specific format, audience and best practice of each channel.
  • Collaborate with other content creators within the team, contributing ideas and supporting a joined-up approach to storytelling.
  • Develop formats that showcase player personality and give fans a closer connection to the squad.
  • Own the day-to-day social media posting schedule, ensuring content is optimised for each platform's algorithm, audience behaviour and technical specifications.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video and static content using Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), ensuring a consistently high standard across all channels.
  • Produce and self-shoot content for all Club channels, including matchday and non-matchday and partner content.
  • Work alongside and collaboratively with other departments at the football club to deliver campaigns.
  • Provide guidance, feedback and quality control on content produced by junior members of the content team.
  • Contribute to and help shape the Club's social media strategy and tone of voice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
