About The Role
Senior Executive, Graphic Design
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Creative Marketing Team as a Senior Executive, Graphic Design. You will work within the club’s marketing department and report to the Manager, Graphic Design. You will work alongside the creative marketing team to deliver the visual requirements and creative assets that support the club’s commercial, brand and operational activity.
What will you be doing?
- Play an active role in the delivery of club and partner marketing campaigns by ensuring all design assets are prepared for go-live on time, to the highest standard, in line with the departments objectives/strategies and adhere to the Clubs brand guidelines.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external creative support and media partners to design creative marketing inventory for go live. This includes a wealth of channels including e-mail, print, social, outdoor, large format and digital ads.
- Work within the creative marketing team to scope briefs, assist in creative problem solving, drive commercial performance through creative approach and grow brand sentiment with considered, impactful design that cuts through.
- Communicate with stakeholders, analyse feedback and make creative decisions to ensure high performing marketing campaigns. Assist in channel tests and be able to optimise performance through creative application.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong communicator, well-organised and flexible - maintaining a high degree of design accuracy whilst working to deadlines. You will have a creative flair, strong interpersonal and analytical skills and able to work on your own initiative as well as with others as part of a team. For this position, you should have experience and proven ability to contribute to creative strategy, analyse creative performance and make recommendations to a variety of stakeholders. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours when relevant.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of omnichannel marketing and how to deliver effective assets for use on each channel. You will have relevant design qualifications such as; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, plus, familiar with HTML email and web technologies. You will be competent in Microsoft Office and confident in designing copy and graphics for print. Experience in the sport, retail or FMCG sectors is preferred.

This is a full-time perm position working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our city centre office in Liverpool.
