Senior Facilities Project Engineer

Location: Livingston

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Facilities Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturer operating within a highly regulated environment. This is a key role responsible for delivering facilities and infrastructure projects that support manufacturing operations, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and operating at peak performance. You'll manage projects from concept through to completion while working closely with engineering, production and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facilities and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Prepare and manage engineering documentation, SOPs and technical procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, risk assessments and FMEA
  • Develop KPIs to monitor facilities performance and equipment reliability
  • Manage specialist contractors and oversee external works
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments to maintain a compliant manufacturing environment

About You

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Significant experience within Facilities, Projects or Capital Engineering
  • Background within pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or another regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of cleanrooms and controlled environments
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and engineering documentation
  • Experience managing contractors and multiple engineering projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
