Senior Family Solicitor Private Family Law

Various Midlands Offices | 5+ PQE

TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a well-established law firm that is looking to strengthen its Family team with the appointment of an experienced solicitor.

This opportunity would suit a lawyer who enjoys working with privately funded clients and is looking to take the next step within a supportive, ambitious team. The role offers a varied and interesting caseload, genuine autonomy, and the opportunity to play a key part in the continued development of the department.

Much of the work involves complex financial matters, requiring a confident and strategic approach alongside exceptional client care.

Beyond managing your own caseload, you'll be encouraged to:

  • Build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Help to generate new business
  • Further strengthen the firm's reputation across the region

There is also scope to mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative and friendly team.

The successful candidate

  • Will be a qualified solicitor with at least five years' post-qualification experience in private family law and a strong background in advising privately paying clients.
  • Will be technically strong, commercially aware, and comfortable handling matters independently while delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Lawyers with an existing professional network or experience of business development would be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
