This is a remote, independent consulting engagement. Work is called on as needed and paid at a daily or hourly rate.
About WealthComply
WealthComply AG is a Zurich-based software company whose platform manages the AEOI compliance cycle for trust companies, corporate service providers and fund administrators. The platform classifies trusts, foundations, companies and account holders under FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard. It audits existing classifications, identifies reportable persons, and prepares reporting files in the required formats. Every determination is supported by a written classification memorandum. The platform is in live use by licensed fiduciaries in [jurisdictions], who rely on it to meet their AEOI obligations. Complex structures receive senior practitioner review as part of the service, and we are adding experienced consulting support to that function.
Technical support
You will provide senior technical support on FATCA and CRS to WealthComply and its clients when called on. Assignments will fall into three areas.
- You will review and determine complex classification cases, including multi-tier trust, foundation and holding structures, and you will sign off the classification memoranda issued in those cases.
- You will answer clients' technical questions across the full compliance cycle, from registration and due diligence to reporting, corrections and responses to tax authority queries.
- You will advise clients on remediating historic classification or reporting errors, and on the documentation a regulator or auditor would expect to see.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Commercial support
- You will join sales calls and product demonstrations when a prospect's compliance team wants a practitioner in the room, and you will handle the technical questions that go beyond the product script.
- You will help new clients map their existing structures onto the platform during onboarding.
- You will contribute, when invited, to webinars, articles, conference panels and client briefings.
Technical resource
- You will act as a technical resource to our client-facing team, and you will brief them on developments such as the amended CRS and the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework.
- You will be available to clients' compliance officers and responsible officers when they need a considered view on a difficult question.
About you
- You have spent a substantial part of your career, typically ten years or more, in the trust and fiduciary industry. That may be at a trust company, a corporate service provider, a private bank's fiduciary arm, or a professional firm advising that sector.
- You have hands-on experience of the full FATCA and CRS compliance cycle for trusts and fiduciary structures. That includes entity classification, identification of controlling persons and equity interest holders, self-certification review, due diligence on new and pre-existing accounts, registration and annual reporting.
- You have prepared or reviewed FATCA and CRS reporting in the prescribed XML formats, and you have dealt with validation errors, corrected and voided records, and nil returns.
- You have handled FATCA registration and GIIN maintenance, including sponsored entities and trustee-documented trusts. You have also registered and reported through a local AEOI portal in at least one jurisdiction.
- You have dealt directly with a tax authority or regulator on AEOI matters, whether in an inspection, a compliance review, a remediation exercise or a voluntary disclosure.
- You know the Model 1 and Model 2 IGA framework and the CRS Commentary well enough to explain why a structure is classified as it is, and to defend that position to a regulator or an auditor.
- You have worked directly in at least one major trust jurisdiction, such as Jersey, Guernsey, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Switzerland or Liechtenstein, and you are familiar with several others.
- You write precise technical memoranda in English, and you can explain the same analysis in plain terms to a client or a colleague in sales.
- You can take on assignments at short notice, and you can do so free of conflicts with any current employer or client.
