Senior Consultant - FF&E
We're hiring a Senior Consultant to join Unispace's FF&E team. You'd report to the Regional Principal for FF&E.
Unispace designs and builds workplaces for global brands. It has 48 studios worldwide. In this role you'd be the senior FF&E person on projects. You'd own furniture schedules, costing and supplier relationships from brief through to install.
What you'll do
- Build detailed furniture schedules from drawings, design proposals and project briefs
- Lead FF&E costing, commercial proposals and value engineering
- Represent FF&E in client meetings, workshops and presentations
- Manage manufacturer and supplier relationships, including negotiation and vendor selection
- Check specifications and installation quality on site
- Coach junior consultants and help improve how the team works

What you'll bring

- Solid experience in commercial furniture or FF&E in workplace environments
- Experience at a furniture dealership, manufacturer or workplace design firm (a big plus)
- Confidence reading drawings and specs, and a good grasp of how installation works
- Commercial sense: you've managed fees, proposals and vendor agreements
- Good knowledge of commercial furniture products, systems and manufacturers
- CAD and design software skills are useful. A second language is a bonus.
