Senior FF&E Designer

A globally recognised design studio, celebrated for delivering exceptional high-end residential interiors across the UK and internationally, is looking for a Senior FF&E Designer to join its growing team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced designer to lead luxury residential projects from concept to installation, taking ownership of bespoke FF&E, furniture, joinery, and decorative lighting packages. Working closely with the Design Directors, you'll shape beautifully crafted interiors, mentor junior designers, and ensure the highest standards of design, quality, and technical delivery throughout every stage of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FF&E design across luxury residential projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout every RIBA stage
  • Design and specify bespoke furniture, joinery, decorative lighting, and FF&E packages tailored to each project
  • Develop and present design concepts alongside the Design Directors to clients and internal teams
  • Produce detailed FF&E documentation, specifications, schedules, and tender packages
  • Review shop drawings, prototypes, samples, and bespoke fabrication details to ensure quality and design integrity
  • Coordinate procurement, supplier relationships, logistics, delivery, and installation
  • Attend site regularly, resolve RFIs, coordinate with contractors, and oversee design changes through to completion
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor and support junior FF&E designers, reviewing work and encouraging professional development
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules, and proactively report progress and risks to senior leadership
  • Support Design Directors with fee proposals, programme planning, and project resourcing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
