About Us
Innatera is a rapidly growing Dutch semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge. These microprocessors mimic the brain’s mechanisms for processing fast data streams from sensors, enabling complex turn-key sensor analytics functionalities, with 10,000x higher performance per watt than competing solutions. Innatera's technology serves as a critical enabler for next-generation use cases in the IoT, wearable, embedded, and automotive domains.
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Field Application Engineer based in our Dutch HQ (or remotely in the UK, Ireland, or Portugal) to support our product development and customer implementation efforts.
The Role
The ideal candidate is a technically hands-on problem solver who sits within the engineering team, actively supporting customers through complex integrations and translating field feedback into product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Bridging the gap between the market and our internal teams by actively translating client feedback and usage scenarios into actionable product improvements;
- Build deep technical relationships with customer architects and engineering management, serving as their primary technical advisor;
- Dealing with technical questions/issues from customers, and assisting our customers in accelerating their development of our technology;
- Training customers (alongside the engineering teams) by organizing workshops, seminars, and on-site support for the tools, software, and applications needed to implement Innatera’s Spiking Neural Processor technology in their designs;
- Help and guide customers through the design process, including architecture reviews, schematic reviews, design-in support, and training customers on product features;
- Partner with Sales to identify opportunities and articulate the value of Innatera technology to secure wins;
- Collaborating actively with the SDK/EDK, architecture, and Product owner teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
