Robert Walters - Senior Financial Analyst - Permanent - Hybrid - Birmingham - £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Our client, a leader in their market, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to drive forecasting transformation, enhance business performance analysis, and deliver meaningful financial insight across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to lead process improvements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:
- Lead the review, development, and enhancement of forecasting and budgeting models across the business.
- Deliver insightful analysis on key business trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives through detailed financial and operational analysis.
- Review and improve cost allocation methodologies to ensure accurate reporting and commercial transparency.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide robust financial insight and challenge assumptions.
- Support strategic projects and business transformation initiatives.
- Produce meaningful management information and performance reporting to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting, and controls.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools and models to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership teams.

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering process improvements and driving efficiencies.
