Our client is an international listed consumer business with operations in multiple locations and over 40 countries, an extensive network across the UK, and revenues in excess of £3billion. The business is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to work closely with Group, Divisional and Country Finance teams, to deliver accurate, timely and insight-led financial reporting, providing commercial analysis that will inform management decision-making. The ideal candidate will be immediately available or on one month notice and at the final stage of their accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Description
The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst role include but are not limited to:
- Own monthly Flash, management and cash flow reporting, delivering clear variance analysis, key messages and performance narratives for senior management and the Board.
- Manage weekly and monthly sales reporting, analysing like-for-like performance, investigating variances and translating results into actionable commercial insights.
- Coordinate budgets and forecasts across divisions, challenge assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and identify emerging financial risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Divisional, Country and Group Finance teams, providing constructive challenge, analysis and clear recommendations to support decision-making.
- Support reporting-system improvements, data integrity and controls, while coordinating year-end databases and reviewing Half-Year and Year-End reporting schedules.
- Drive improvements to FP&A processes, reduce manual effort, enhance reporting quality and ensure consistent standards.

Skills
The skills of the Senior Finance Analyst role include but are not limited to:
- Actively sitting exams for the final stage of ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel, financial modelling, Power BI/Power Query and finance systems.
- Great attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
