About the Role

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic and analytical support across the UK and EMEA business, supporting stakeholders with actionable insights, decision-making, and performance management. The role plays a critical part in forecasting, budgeting, business case development, and performance reporting, while acting as a trusted advisor to the business, balancing cost, risk, and growth objectives. With ownership of significant spend and exposure to senior leadership, the Senior Finance Analyst combines strong financial expertise with commercial acumen to influence outcomes. This is a high-impact role within a transforming finance function, requiring a proactive, curious mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, systems advancement, and data-led decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic and analytical support across the UK and EMEA business
  • Supporting stakeholders with actionable insights, decision-making, and performance management
  • Playing a critical part in forecasting, budgeting, business case development, and performance reporting
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, balancing cost, risk, and growth objectives
  • Bringing relevant finance qualifications and experience
  • Having experience in a fast-paced, multisite environment with a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and performance insight delivery
  • Having advanced financial modelling, systems, and technical capability with strong experience building robust financial models and business cases, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability, with the ability to interpret financial performance drivers and provide actionable insights, with experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to influence decisions and outcomes
  • Possessing excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Being confident in delivering clear, concise insights to senior stakeholders, simplifying complex financial concepts, and building credibility in cross-functional environments

Daily Tasks

  • Leading financial planning, modelling, and commercial analysis, providing robust analysis of commercial opportunities, including P&L and cashflow modelling, scenario planning, and risk sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisions across UK and/or EMEA
  • Owning performance reporting and insight generation, delivering high-quality management reporting, including month-end close, variance analysis vs budget/forecast, and clear commentary
  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive cost control and commercial performance, acting as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions, and providing insight to optimise cost, risk, and business outcomes
  • Driving data integrity, systems ownership, and analytics capability, owning elements of financial systems (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI) ensuring data accuracy, leading data-related initiatives, and enhancing analytics and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making
  • Supporting strategic delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team capability, contributing to UK and/or EMEA strategy, delivering senior-level presentations and leading ad hoc analysis while supporting the development of analysts.
