About the Role

Love numbers? More interested in the story behind them? We're working with a growing Financial Services business looking for a commercially-minded Senior Finance Analyst who can do more than report the numbers. They want someone who can spot trends, identify what's driving performance, and turn complex financial data into a narrative that influences business decisions.

This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to senior leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and enhancing financial models that support strategic decision-making
  • Analysing large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Turning financial performance into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes
  • Partnering with teams across the business to understand performance drivers
  • Helping leaders answer not just "what happened?" but "why did it happen?" and "what happens next?"
  • Driving improvements in reporting, analysis and business intelligence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
