Senior Finance Analyst – Renewable Energy
Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Analyst – Renewable Energy to support a major advisory assignment focused on renewable energy and energy-efficiency investment, financing access, market barriers, and institutional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for assigned advisory packages, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Lead development of the analytical framework, interlinkage mapping, scoring methodology, and phased recommendations for investment and financing barrier analysis.
- Lead preparation of the Structural Challenge and Mitigation Matrix, ensuring alignment with relevant Government of Bangladesh mandates and institutional responsibilities.
- Lead the architecture and preparation of a practical Financing Access Guideline for renewable energy and energy-efficiency investments.
- Coordinate communication with donors, government authorities, financial institutions, development partners, and other stakeholders involved in the assignment.
- Lead validation workshops and support preparation of the final endorsement package.
- Plan and coordinate inputs from local and international short-term experts within the available project budget.
- Support personnel management, assignment planning, technical supervision, and quality assurance.
- Ensure regular project reporting and delivery in accordance with agreed deadlines.

Required Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree or equivalent German Diploma in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Energy Policy, or a closely related discipline.
Language
Minimum C1-level proficiency in English.
General Professional Experience
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the investment, financing, banking, financial advisory, or related advisory sector.
Specific Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy or energy-efficiency investment climate, market assessment, financing-barrier analysis, or related assignments. Candidates should demonstrate experience in developing financing guidelines, financial products, investment mechanisms, or financing solutions with or for financial institutions.
Leadership / Management Experience
Minimum 5 years of management or leadership experience as a Project Team Leader, Project Manager, Senior Consultant, or equivalent position.
Regional Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional project experience in South Asia and/or South-East Asia.
Development Cooperation Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience working on development cooperation projects, preferably involving international development agencies, donors, DFIs, or government institutions.
