What if your next role gave you a seat at the table where some of the most important business decisions are made?

As a finance professional, you've probably spent years analysing numbers, preparing forecasts, and helping stakeholders understand performance. But perhaps you're now looking for a role where your insights genuinely influence strategy, where senior leaders value your perspective, and where your work helps shape the future direction of an iconic brand.

At Aston Martin, our Financial Planning & Analysis team sits at the heart of that decision-making process. We provide the Executive Leadership Team and PLC Board with the financial insight they need to understand performance, navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and make confident decisions for the future.

As our next Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be trusted to look beyond the numbers and tell the story behind them.

You'll take ownership of key planning and forecasting activities, helping maintain and develop our integrated five-year business plan while supporting budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic planning. Your analysis will help senior stakeholders understand the drivers behind business performance, cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, ensuring decisions are informed by meaningful financial insight rather than assumptions alone.

This is a role for someone who enjoys asking questions, challenging thinking constructively, and translating complex financial information into clear recommendations. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership, building trusted relationships and becoming a valued business partner throughout the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll also play an important role in preparing executive-level reporting, supporting investor relations activities, monitoring business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and continuously improving the way we plan, analyse, and report across the business.

The environment is fast-paced and constantly evolving, which means you'll need to be comfortable managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting as business needs change. In return, you'll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, high-profile projects, and the opportunity to influence decisions that have a real impact on the business.

You'll likely bring strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis within a complex organisation. You'll be confident using advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modelling techniques, comfortable communicating with both financial and non-financial audiences, and have a solid understanding of cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet performance. A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA would be highly beneficial.

Experience within manufacturing, automotive, or another capital-intensive industry would be advantageous, but just as important is your curiosity, commercial awareness, and desire to continuously improve the way things are done.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy being part of a team that collaborates, challenges positively, and works together to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

If you're looking for a role that combines technical finance expertise with strategic influence, and you're excited by the opportunity to contribute to one of the world's most recognised luxury automotive brands, we'd love to hear from you.
