Senior Finance Assistant – 6 months, £180-£200 a day inside IR35
Working with an established production studio, looking for a hands-on Senior Finance Assistant to join their team.
This is a varied role covering day-to-day finance across the business, including AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll support and management reporting. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in a finance system migration and help improve processes as the business continues to grow.
The role will include:
- Managing AP and AR, including invoicing, credit control, and supplier payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records across UK and US entities
- Bank, credit card, expenses, and supplier reconciliations
- Supporting monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Preparing payroll information and posting payroll journals
- Supporting VAT returns, P11Ds, and other finance requirements
- Assisting with a finance system migration, likely to Xero
- Working with the wider team to improve processes and introduce efficiencies

We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong experience across transactional finance / AP & AR
- Experience supporting management accounts and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of Xero and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with internal teams and external suppliers
