Senior Associate | Leveraged & Acquisition Finance | 6 PQE+ | London

SSQ is working with a leading international law firm that is looking to hire a Senior Associate into its growing Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team in London. The role would suit a technically strong finance lawyer with broad experience across lender and sponsor-side transactions.

  • The team is in a growth phase, with plans to expand its partner bench over the coming years and a clear appetite to promote from within.
  • As a result, there are strong long-term progression prospects for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 6 PQE or above
  • Strong leveraged and acquisition finance experience
  • Experience acting for both lenders and sponsors
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • The ability to run transactions with limited supervision
  • A commercial mindset and an interest in business development and client relationships
