Senior Finance Business Partner | North Manchester (Hybrid) | £70,000 – £80,000
Forge Talent is working with a fast-scaling, investor-backed technology business to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner into their central FP&A function, reporting to the Head of FP&A.
This is a commercially driven, senior finance role embedded with the commercial leadership team. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior Sales and Marketing leaders, helping to shape growth plans, improve forecast quality, and ensure commercial initiatives deliver strong, sustainable returns.
You’ll be the go-to finance partner for the Go-To-Market functions, leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, and translating strategic ambitions into robust, data-backed financial plans. You’ll challenge assumptions, sharpen decision-making and provide clear, actionable insight on performance, risks and opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for Sales, Marketing and related commercial teams.
- Build and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting, customer acquisition, retention and growth plans.
- Analyse performance against key subscription/software metrics (e.g. recurring revenue, acquisition costs, lifetime value, conversion and retention).
- Support investment appraisal and business case development for strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with commercial operations to enhance forecasting approaches and management reporting.
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and the executive team.
- Mentor and support other Finance Business Partners and FP&A analysts.
- Contribute to broader Finance improvement and transformation projects.

About you
You’ll have strong FP&A and business partnering experience, gained in a software, technology or similarly complex, high-growth environment, with a solid grasp of Go-To-Market models and commercial growth drivers.
Requirements
- SaaS/Software experience is a non-negotiable
- Significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven track record partnering senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing or Commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of Go-To-Market operating models and key commercial levers.
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions.
