Role - Senior Finance Business Partner

Location - Nationwide

Salary - £43,406.96

About the Role

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic analysis to support and challenge our stakeholders in making the right decisions for our growing organisation. You’ll understand and support the programmes we work with, adding value to decisions. The focus of this role will be budgeting, forecasting and management reporting as well as representing our team in organisation-wide projects and driving consistent improvement in processes to add value to Teach First.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic analysis to support and challenge stakeholders.
  • Understand and support the programmes we work with, adding value to decisions.
  • Focus on budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Represent the team in organisation-wide projects.
  • Drive consistent improvement in processes to add value to Teach First.

Requirements

  • UK based qualified accountant (e.g. ACMA, CIPFA, ACCA, or ACA) with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and reporting standards.
  • Awareness of FRS102 and the Charity SORP.
  • Ability to convey complex issues with clarity, brevity, and confidence.
  • Proven experience of promoting dialogue with stakeholders through active listening and effective questioning.
  • Capability to adapt style to maximise support and engagement.
  • Ability to maintain a broad and strategic perspective with awareness of detail.
