An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Business Partner to join a growing organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Operational Finance. This is a highly visible role that will see you partnering with senior operational and commercial stakeholders across the business, providing strategic financial insight, robust financial planning and analysis, and supporting key decision-making to drive growth, profitability and operational performance.
Your new role
You will take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting and performance analysis across designated contracts, ensuring senior leaders have access to accurate and meaningful financial information. You will play a key role in supporting contract bids, business development opportunities and account growth initiatives, building sophisticated financial models, evaluating commercial opportunities and helping to shape strategic business decisions. The position will also involve leading budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering detailed variance analysis, supporting year-end activities and audits, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency and cost control throughout the organisation.

Working closely with operational leaders, sales teams, project managers and executive stakeholders, you will provide financial challenge and guidance across a range of commercial activities including contract negotiations, supplier evaluations, project delivery and business planning. You will be responsible for developing robust financial models, analysing risks and opportunities, monitoring project performance and producing insightful financial commentary to support business cases and investment decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACA, ACCA Or CIMA Accountant with a track record of partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-service environment. You will bring proven experience in financial planning, modelling, forecasting, performance reporting and commercial analysis, alongside the ability to influence decision-making and challenge constructively. Experience working within a matrix organisation and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.

What you'll get in return
This role is mainly remote and will be a FTC for circa 6 months, with FTE salary of £80,000 - £120,000
