Senior Finance Business Partner - Sport
Start: September/October | Hybrid Working | 3 days in office near Birmingham
Salary: £80,000k

A well-known sporting organization is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become permanent for the right individual.
This is a commercially focused role suited to a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience and a strong background in business partnering with senior operational and leadership teams. The successful candidate will be a key driver in supporting strategic decision-making and delivering insight to improve commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial performance, forecasts, and insights to the senior leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational teams to analyze and drive commercial performance across the business.
- Support long-term planning and contribute to the development of robust business cases to enable business growth.
- Collaborate closely with operations to understand trading performance, identify risks, and uncover opportunities to optimize results.
- Play an active role in driving commercial outcomes and supporting strategic initiatives in partnership with the CEO and executive team.

Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE.
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role, working in close partnership with senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
