Role Overview

You will be the finance business partner to the Technology organization, supporting two members of the Company Leadership Team: the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Product Officer. You will own business case development, budgeting and forecasting, and day-to-day commercial decision support for the function. This is a high-visibility role: Technology is our largest function by headcount, so your work will shape where a significant share of the company's investment goes.

Key Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

  • Model the financial impact of large transformation programs, including scenarios, sensitivities, and payback
  • Own production of business cases for the function, ensuring every investment has a clear, value-creative return and is tracked through to benefit realization
  • Maintain the rolling forecast for the function, keeping it current as priorities, hiring plans, and program spend evolve
  • Lead the annual budget and long-range planning process for Technology
  • Own monthly reporting for the Technology function – explaining performance against budget, prior year, month-on-month movements, and the business levers driving them
  • Act as the main liaison between the central reporting team and the business, translating group reporting requirements into insight leaders can act on
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting by function, giving leadership a consistent view of operational and financial performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
