Senior Finance Business Partner

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner. Supporting the MECCS (Medicine, Emergency Care and Children’s Services) Division.

You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality financial advice, information, analysis, and interpretation, to aid effective decision-making and financial performance, and an integral part of the divisional management team. We offer a flexible working pattern and agile working.

Responsibilities

  • To lead the Divisional finance function, being an integral part of the Divisional management team, advising on all aspects of financial management of the Division and the Trust.
  • To assist in the development of strategies for the financial management of the Division and provide financial management support to the process of service modernisation within the Trust.
  • To assist the Assistant Director of Finance – Financial Management in the management of the Financial Management function and in ensuring a rigorous operational financial framework is in place.
  • To deputise for the Assistant Director of Finance – Financial Management as required.
  • To contribute to the management of the Finance Directorate, taking the lead on particular trust-wide initiatives and manage the work of the Division finance team.

FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services.

WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life-threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case, and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
