Stanton House is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, technology-led business as they look to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner – Corporate Costs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey, where Finance is increasingly becoming a strategic partner to the wider organisation. Reporting into the senior Finance team, you will work closely with senior leadership and budget holders across the business, providing the insight, challenge and commercial thinking needed to support better decision-making.
This is not a traditional finance reporting role. You will have genuine ownership and influence across a broad portfolio, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, Facilities, Strategy, Product and Technology.
Why this role?
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Partner directly with senior stakeholders and influence decisions across the organisation.
- Take ownership of corporate cost management, budgeting and forecasting.
- Play a key role in CAPEX planning and investment decisions, including evaluating business cases and ROI.
- Get involved in strategic projects, including acquisitions, integration and efficiency programmes.
- Build a deep understanding of the business and use financial insight to challenge and drive performance.
- Help shape and improve the way Finance operates as the organisation continues to scale.
- Gain broad exposure across a dynamic, technology-led business with plenty of scope to develop.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
