Senior Finance Business Partner / Manchester / Salary £75,000 + benefits
Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a large global organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for a key commercial division based in Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading business in a highly visible role, partnering with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to drive performance, influence decision-making and support continued growth.
We're particularly keen to speak with candidates from a retail, consumer, FMCG or multi-site environment, who thrive in fast-paced businesses and enjoy using financial insight to challenge, influence and improve commercial outcomes.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will act as the lead finance partner for several senior stakeholders, providing robust financial analysis, commercial insight and strategic support across a significant area of the business.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being in the business rather than sitting behind the numbers. You'll be a trusted advisor to operational leaders, helping to maximise profitability, improve performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior operational and commercial leaders to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver insightful analysis on revenue, margin, cost performance and operational KPIs.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.
- Provide financial challenge and support to improve business performance.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities and investments.
- Track and analyse key business drivers, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reporting to senior leadership teams.
- Support pricing, promotional activity and profitability analysis.
- Drive accountability across the business through meaningful performance metrics and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost control, efficiency improvements and margin enhancement.
- Work closely with finance colleagues to improve reporting, planning and decision-support capabilities.
- Contribute to strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.

We're looking for a commercially minded and influential finance professional who can build strong relationships, challenge constructively and operate as a genuine business partner.
Requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Highly Desirable
- Experience within a retail, consumer, FMCG, hospitality or multi-site business.
- Exposure to a large, complex organisation.
- Commercially focused mindset with a track record of driving performance improvements.
