Senior Finance Business Partner | £57-63k | Children's Charity | 12 month FTC | 2 days in Central London office

This Senior Finance Business Partner role is a maternity contract to join an iconic children's charity. This role is a varied position working with passionate stakeholders within the charity as well as managing a strong team of Business Partner/Management Accountants. This role will be working closely with the senior stakeholders across various areas such as commercial income generation or the charity services. This role will require a qualified accountant with a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as a senior member of a productive and collaborative FP&A team, managing a small team of motivated staff.
  • Delivering excellent service to various stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective working relationships, with the ability to adapt the approach depending on the needs of the individual stakeholders.
  • Overseeing and updating Management Accounts, investigating variances, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide support and up-to-date information relating to budgets and forecast information.
  • Prepare and deliver KPIs and budgets in line with the organisation's long-term strategy.
  • Analysing metrics and other data to ensure accurate and relevant reporting.

Person Specification

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders of complex needs and requirements.
  • Experience of working in the Charity sector.
  • Experience of management accounting.
  • Ideally experience of managing a small team, or supervising junior staff.
  • Excellent technical skills including advanced Excel skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious character with a proactive mindset.
