Senior Finance Business Partner
Hybrid | Hertfordshire | £90,000-£105,000 + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-profile, customer-focused organisation undergoing a significant period of transformation and investment.
Operating across multiple markets, the business is investing heavily in technology, data and commercial capability to support future growth and enhance performance. As part of this evolution, an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner is sought to support senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight, challenge and strategic decision support across a complex operational environment.
This is a highly visible role, offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape decisions that influence performance, resource allocation and long-term value creation.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in evaluating business performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and growth.
Working closely with commercial, operational and cross-functional stakeholders, you will provide financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making, investment appraisal and performance improvement initiatives.

This role combines strategic business partnering with hands-on commercial finance and will suit an individual who enjoys translating complex analysis into practical recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner senior commercial and operational stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on performance and financial outcomes.
- Provide commercial finance support across a significant operational P&L.
- Develop and enhance performance frameworks, reporting and analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities for growth, efficiency and value creation.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, resource allocation decisions and business initiatives through robust financial analysis.
- Challenge existing processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain a prioritised pipeline of performance improvement opportunities.
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case evaluation.
- Support stakeholders in understanding key business drivers and translating insight into action.

About You
We are keen to speak with ambitious, commercially focused finance professionals who combine strong analytical capability with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
You will likely possess:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Experience within commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or strategic finance roles.
- A proven track record of influencing operational and commercial decision-making.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
- Experience identifying and delivering performance improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The confidence and credibility to challenge constructively and influence outcomes.
- A proactive mindset, with a strong focus on delivery and continuous improvement.
- Experience within consumer, retail, FMCG, hospitality, leisure, telecoms, logistics or other customer-focused sectors would be advantageous.
