Job Opportunity: Senior Finance Business Partner

HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a non-profit organisation based in the heart of London, to support them with the hire of a new Senior Finance Business Partner, reporting to the FD.

The organisation has appointed new leadership in the past 12 months and is undergoing significant transformation, with a real focus on growth and brand awareness.

About the Role:

This is a truly commercial role, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support with budget and forecasting processes, business cases, and identifying risks and opportunities. It is an ideal role for someone seeking a commercial role where they will be vital to the growth and ongoing strategy of the organisation. The role will also have one direct report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes
  • Manage and develop the Finance Business Partner
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop financial models, business cases and investment appraisals alongside senior stakeholders
  • Monitor financial performance, presenting reports on performance and identifying trends, risks and opportunities
  • Support cash flow forecasting and longer term financial planning
  • Ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance
  • Drive ongoing process, reporting and system improvements
  • Enable senior stakeholders to achieve their objectives, promoting growth and opportunities, and challenging as required
  • Ad hoc support to Finance Director and wider team

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Strong financial reporting/management accounting background
  • Extensive commercial finance experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to support, influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
  • People management or mentoring experience
  • Experience in owning budgeting/forecasting processes and driving growth
  • Proactive and professional in approach
  • Interest in working for an interesting non-profit organisation

What’s on Offer:
