We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, providing high-quality financial insight, challenge and support to senior stakeholders across our Operations directorate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in shaping financial decision-making. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with commercial thinking, helping colleagues understand performance, identify opportunities and use resources effectively.
The role
As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll take ownership of management reporting for the Operations directorate, covering management accounts, budgets, quarterly forecasting, KPIs and variance analysis. You’ll be working with budget holders at all levels of the business, including our Chief Operating Officer. Your insight will help senior leaders understand financial performance and make informed strategic and operational decisions.
Using your experience in business partnering, you’ll build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted finance partner who can provide constructive challenge, commercial advice and practical solutions. You’ll support effective decision-making, identify Value for Money opportunities and savings.
You’ll lead and develop a team of three colleagues, including an Apprentice, creating an environment where people can perform at their best and continue to grow. You’ll work collaboratively with other Finance team members and look for ways to continuously improve our finance processes and systems. From time to time, you’ll also deputise for the Head of Business Partnering. Approval of reconciliation work and contact with our external auditors throughout the year, will form part of this role.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be a qualified accountant with strong experience across management accounting, month and year-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and finance business partnering.
Alongside your technical expertise, you’ll bring:
- A strong customer-focused approach to Finance Business Partnering
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn complex financial information into clear, meaningful insight
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience of working successfully within a changing environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to identify, lead and deliver improvements to financial systems and processes
- Strong commercial acumen and a genuine commitment to delivering value for money
