Senior Finance Business Partner

I’m delighted to be partnered with a well-established Housing Association based in West Yorkshire. They’re looking to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the central Finance team and report into the Head of Finance. This is a key role supporting financial performance and strategic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partnering with Directors, Heads of Service, senior leaders and represent finance in management team meetings, internal and external forums.
- Mentor two Assistant Accountants.
- Opportunity to influence budgets, forecasting, management reporting, rent and service charge processes, value for money and business cases.
- Lead, manage and develop the finance business partnering team, providing clear objectives, regular supervision, coaching and support.
- Lead all aspects of Budgeting, forecasting, management accounts reporting.
- Build strong relationships with Directors, Heads of Service, budget holders.
- Provide financial insight, constructive challenge and practical decision support to senior leadership.
- Lead the annual budget setting process, in year forecasting and management accounting across all service areas.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Support rent and service charge setting, including assumptions, budgets, policy compliance and regulatory considerations.
- Support value for money reporting, business cases, financial modelling, option appraisals and scenario analysis.
- Work collaboratively across finance to improve reporting, planning, systems, processes and financial management.

- Experience in housing, property, not for profit or another regulated environment.
- A qualified accountant or finalist with ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA studies.
- Experience in rent setting, service charges, RSH returns.
FOR THIS YOU WILL RECEIVE
A competitive salary of up to £57,000 base, plus excellent benefits, which include:
