Senior Finance Business Partner - Group IT
As Senior Finance Business Partner - Group IT, you will lead the finance support function for a global technology organisation, providing financial planning, forecasting, reporting and commercial insight to senior stakeholders. The role combines leadership, business partnering and strategic project involvement, whilst ensuring robust financial control across a significant international cost base.

Description
- Financial planning: Leading the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process for the Group IT function
- Financial control: Designing, documenting and implementing Group IT financial processes to ensure full compliance with Groups G3 controls processes for Group IT
- Financial reporting: Sign off of monthly management accounts including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and internal reporting submissions
- Communication of financials: Presenting the financials to the budget holders, and key senior stakeholders across the organisation, including Business IT Directors, Finance Directors and Group CFO
- Recharges: Responsible for the intercompany recharge process for recharges of Global Group IT costs to the Business Units
- Strategic initiatives: Providing IT with financial insight and recommendations and playing a key role in the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Continuous improvement: Proactively identifying and implementing financial best practice and process improvements across the function
- Capital allocation: Supporting with capex business cases, ensuring that costs are correctly expensed or capitalised in accordance with accounting guidance

Profile
Relevant Experience & Qualifications
- Experienced Financial Business Partner with minimum of 5 years' experience within the finance department of a commercial organisation
- People management, coordination of multiple workstreams and supporting team development
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Experience within an IT company or IT Department
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with minimum 5 years PQE
Skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Problem-solving skills: able to respond quickly and effectively to problems, with a collaborative and proactive approach to resolution.
- Communication: able to effectively understand and articulate complex financial forecasts to senior stakeholders, including Group CFO and CEO and non-finance colleagues.
- Collaboration: Effectively collaborate, manage and partner with multiple senior stakeholders across the business
- Adaptability: Work well within a close-knit team to prioritise workload and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Attention to detail: high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ownership and accountability: Take pride in your work and work with colleagues to set & achieve high standards of work
- Continuous improvement: Track record of implementing financial best practice and process improvements on a global basis
