Our client is an established ecommerce and retail organisation looking to strengthen its commercial finance capability. The business is focused on improving commercial insight, making better use of data and exploring how AI can support faster, better decision-making.
How you’ll make an impact
- Partner with senior stakeholders to improve commercial decision-making across ecommerce and retail.
- Turn financial and operational data into clear recommendations and actions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling across key areas of the business.
- Analyse revenue, margin, pricing and costs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Build robust financial models to support investment and commercial decisions.
- Improve performance reporting, making insight clearer and more useful.
- Support wider FP&A and longer-term financial planning.
- Explore practical ways to use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve the speed and quality of insight.
- Test new tools and approaches, helping finance make better use of data and technology.
- Challenge existing ways of working and strengthen the commercial finance function.

Why you’re a great fit
- You’ll be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
- A background in ecommerce, retail or another consumer-facing environment would be highly relevant.
- You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable challenging constructively and able to operate effectively when priorities move quickly.
