Job Title: Senior Finance Lead
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £100,000-£120,000 + benefits
Overview
We are partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Lead. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance leader to take ownership of operational finance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, improve visibility of key metrics, and support strategic decision-making. The role will suit someone who enjoys working at pace, influencing non-finance teams, and using financial insight to improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning across multiple sites
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability
- Provide clear financial insight, analysis, and decision support
- Establish and track KPIs to improve performance visibility and accountability
- Drive cost control and operational efficiency initiatives
- Enhance reporting, processes, and systems to improve output and accuracy
- Lead and develop a team aligned to operational finance delivery
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior operational or commercial finance role
- Strong background in business partnering and performance management
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level
- Strong analytical and systems capability (ERP exposure essential)
