Partner Financial is collaborating with a leading international consumer business that is entering an exciting period of continued growth and transformation. With a strong global presence, established brand portfolio, and a clear focus on innovation, the organisation is investing in its finance function to strengthen reporting, controls and governance across the business.
The Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role within the financial reporting team, leading internal and external reporting activities and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial information. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will manage a team and take ownership of statutory reporting, financial controls, audit management and continuous improvement across the reporting function.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting submissions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting timetables.
- Leading the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Managing the external audit process and acting as the primary relationship contact for external auditors.
- Owning the internal control environment, including internal audit activity and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with tax, VAT, transfer pricing and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing the month-end close process and ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and challenging high-risk or complex account balances.
- Taking ownership of central cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintaining and enhancing financial controls, policies and procedures to support a robust governance framework.
- Supporting finance transformation, automation and wider process improvement initiatives.
- Managing, coaching and developing a high-performing team of three finance professionals.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all reporting, compliance and control activities.
- Providing technical accounting guidance and supporting the ongoing development of the team.
- Working closely with senior finance and business stakeholders to communicate financial information and resolve complex reporting matters.

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Proven experience managing statutory reporting and external audit processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet management and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
