Senior Finance Manager (Group Reporting) - Bradford

We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager (Group Reporting) to be based in Bradford.

This is a high-profile role within the AtlasEdge accounting team and would suit an experienced Senior Finance Manager who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment with significant exposure to senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for areas including group reporting, consolidations, balance sheet governance, cash flow reporting, intercompany, and wider financial reporting activities, while also leading a team of two direct reports. The role involves regular interaction with key stakeholders across AtlasEdge and offers excellent visibility across the business.

Experience in Group Reporting and Consolidation would be advantageous.

What will you be doing?

  • Co-ordinating the Group Reporting: Including preparation of consolidated monthly reporting, cash flow reporting and balance sheet reporting
  • Dealing with escalations and solving problems: Address issues that arise from working in a busy team juggling multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Intercompany accounting: Including resolving intercompany mismatches and maintaining a framework to prevent new mismatches
  • Balance sheet governance
  • Equity accounting
  • Preparation of financial statements: Including consolidated UK financial statements

Essential

We tend to look for people with:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA; CIMA etc.) with post qualification experience
  • Team leadership of Finance Managers and/or qualified accountants.
  • Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with US GAAP is helpful, but not essential
