Finance Manager – Property

£90,000 + Package | Immediate / Short Notice Start Preferred

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing and highly regarded business operating within the property sector.

This is a senior, hands-on finance role with responsibility for a portfolio of investments and property holding entities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role across financial reporting, management accounts, audit, budgeting, investor and lender reporting, tax, controls and company secretarial matters.

The role would suit a technically strong finance professional who is comfortable operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions, working closely with finance teams, investors, lenders and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of financial reporting timetables across a designated portfolio, ensuring all investor, banking and statutory deadlines are met.
  • Manage year-end external audit processes at both group and local level, including liaison with auditors and local finance teams.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packs for third-party investors and lenders.
  • Produce quarterly consolidated group accounts for investment groups.
  • Review balance sheets, P&Ls and trial balances, ensuring appropriate controls and high-quality underlying financial information.
  • Work closely with Financial Controllers and external accounting teams across the portfolio.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the wider finance, transactions and development teams.
  • Manage corporate cost budgets and quarterly actual-versus-budget reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with loan documentation, including quarterly bank covenant reporting.
  • Monitor capital expenditure associated with refurbishment projects and assess the related cash and accounting implications.
  • Liaise with international finance teams and local teams, with some travel involved.
  • Review internal audit findings and follow up on control weaknesses and risk areas.
  • Review VAT and corporation tax returns and assist with year-end tax provisions, reconciliations and tax modelling.
  • Support company secretarial compliance across investment and holding entities.
  • Assist with the establishment and administration of UK companies, including statutory records, director appointments, share certificates and PSC requirements.
  • Support banking requirements, including account openings, mandates and maintaining accurate banking records.
  • Provide wider support to the Finance team on ad-hoc projects and transactions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
