Role: Senior Finance Manager

Location: London
Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable DOE) plus quarterly bonuses

We’re partnering with a fast-growing UK consumer brand (Beauty & Personal care) to hire a Senior Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Ownership of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy
  • Support VAT, audit, and statutory requirements

Commercial Finance

  • Partner with leadership on financial performance and decision-making
  • Deliver insights on profitability, margins, and growth opportunities
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling

Budgeting & Performance

  • Lead budgeting and re-forecasting cycles
  • Monitor departmental spend and track performance vs plan
  • Identify variances and drive accountability across teams
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Improve finance processes, reporting, and controls
  • Support optimisation of ERP and finance systems
  • Drive efficiencies through automation and better data usage

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop 2 Finance Assistants (AP & AR)
  • Set clear objectives and drive high performance
  • Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or strong QBE
  • Experience in a Finance Manager role within a founder-led, SME or fast-growing business
  • Background in beauty, personal care, consumer goods, e-commerce, or retail environments
  • Strong technical grounding in management accounts, cashflow, budgeting & COGS
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led hands-on environment
