We're looking for a dynamic, ambitious Senior Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, high-energy team, gaining hands-on experience across the full spectrum of transactional finance while leading and developing others. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, driven professional eager to make an impact.
The team? A sociable, hardworking group of 20 who live by a "work hard, play hard" culture. You'll take ownership of delegating tasks and managing workloads across the team, so if you're a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can inspire, lead and develop staff, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
- Delegate and oversee staff responsibilities across the finance team, ensuring workloads are distributed effectively
- Manage task allocation and prioritisation, coaching junior team members to deliver against deadlines
- Oversee purchase/sales ledgers, cash books, loan schedules and ensure accurate reconciliations
- Maintain accruals, prepayments & amortisation schedules
- Prepare management accounts, including budget variance analysis
- Lead VAT & CIS return submissions
- Supervise invoice processing & cash book maintenance
- Manage statutory accounts, audits & financial reporting
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors & key stakeholders
- Present finance reports to shareholders & board members
- Act as a point of escalation for the team, delegating tasks and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met

What We're Looking For:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (essential)
- At least one year post-qualified experience (essential)
- Proven experience delegating tasks and managing staff workloads
- Experience working in a professional finance environment
- Confidence in board-level interactions (experience desirable, but not essential)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement
