We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our growing team and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations and ongoing success of the dual-branded Aloft & Residence Inn by Marriott in Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter. This is a unique opportunity to be part of two of Marriott’s most dynamic brands—Aloft, known for its bold design and social energy, and Residence Inn, crafted for longer stays and residential comfort—in one vibrant destination.

Position Summary
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective support to the General Manager. This role will have responsibility across financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and operational finance—while working closely with the Regional / Cluster Finance team.

What You’ll Do

  • Financial Reporting & Controls
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts for review and commentary
    • General ledger management and day-to-day journal postings
    • Daily revenue checks and reconciliation of income audit reports
    • Supporting the General Manager with financial performance analysis and cost control

Candidate Profile

  • Education & Experience:
    • A proven track record within a senior accounts position in hospitality.
    • Confident, articulate, and communicative with good interpersonal skills.
    • Strong process orientation with a positive approach to change.
    • Able to coach team members.
    • Organised, systematic, and deadline-driven.
    • Analytical and detail-oriented.
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, computer literate with multiple systems experience—Sage Line 50, Alkimii, Procure Wizard experience an advantage.
