Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join a busy professional services business as a replacement for an existing role in Glasgow.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Group’s ongoing transition towards improving and building upon their current Shared Service Centre model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate ongoing group finance transformation and transition activity.
- Oversee key finance processes, ensuring effective controls, consistency, and continuous improvement.
- Manage transition plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate process documentation, knowledge transfer, and training.
- Work closely with finance teams, SSC leadership, technology, and transformation stakeholders.
- Ensuring processes are operating effectively.
- Provide clear reporting, insight, and recommendations to the Finance Director.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and improve Group finance processes.
- Support the development of the Group’s future finance operating model.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Previous experience in a Group Finance Manager, Finance Manager, or finance transformation role.
- Strong knowledge of core finance processes. (RTR, PTP, Treasury)
- Experience of managing change, process improvement, or shared service transitions.
- Strong financial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organization and communication abilities.
- Confidence working with senior leadership and influencing across the wider Group.
- A pragmatic, commercially focused, and continuous improvement mindset.
