Senior Finance Manager
B Corp Consumer Business | London | £70,000–£80,000 + Bonus
The Opportunity
We’re working with an exciting B Corp-certified consumer business that is looking to appoint a Senior Finance Manager as it continues to grow.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to sit close to the decision-making of a growing consumer brand.
The business has a strong purpose-led proposition, an established customer base, and ambitious plans for continued growth. We’re looking for someone with experience in a challenger brand, D2C, or high-growth consumer environment who understands that Finance needs to do more than report the numbers. It needs to help drive better commercial decisions.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team, you will take ownership across financial reporting, commercial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering. This is a broad role with significant exposure across the business and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Key responsibilities
- Own monthly management reporting and financial analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting
- Provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other key functions
- Analyse revenue, gross margin, customer performance, and operating costs
- Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital management
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and business performance
- Develop and improve financial models and reporting
- Support the Finance Director with strategic projects and decision-making
- Improve processes, controls, and the overall efficiency of the finance function
- Translate financial information into clear, actionable recommendations
- Help the business understand the financial implications of growth and investment decisions

About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with genuine commercial curiosity. You should have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
- Strong experience in a consumer, D2C, or challenger brand environment
- Experience working in a fast-growing business
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering skills
- Excellent budgeting and forecasting experience
- A good understanding of revenue, margin, and profitability drivers
- Strong Excel / financial modelling skills
- The confidence to work with senior stakeholders
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams

We want someone who gets challenger brands. Someone who understands the realities of growing a consumer business:
Customer acquisition → revenue growth → product margin → inventory → fulfilment → cash → profitability.
You should be commercially curious and comfortable challenging assumptions rather than simply reporting what has happened.

Package & Location
- Salary: £70,000–£80,000 + bonus
- Location: London
- Working pattern: 2 days per week in the London office
- Reporting to: Finance Director
