Senior Finance Manager - Commercial

The Senior Finance Manager - Commercial role sits within the easyJet holidays Finance team, supporting the Commercial and Marketing areas of the business. The team provides financial leadership, commercial insight, and strategic challenge to help drive profitable growth, support business decisions, and deliver the company's growth plans.

In this role, you'll provide strategic financial leadership across Commercial and Marketing, helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions, evaluating investment opportunities, and driving improvements across reporting, analysis, and finance processes. You'll also lead and develop a team while supporting major business initiatives and transformation activities.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Partnering with Commercial and Marketing leaders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support for decision making
  • Leading the financial evaluation of strategic initiatives and investment opportunities, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting major growth initiatives, including expansion into new markets and distribution channels
  • Leading forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning activities across Commercial and Marketing
  • Producing clear financial analysis and performance reporting to support business decisions
  • Driving improvements in reporting, analytics, automation, and finance processes
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and governance while identifying ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of finance professionals
  • Building strong working relationships across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and operational teams

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • Qualified accountant with at least five years' post-qualified experience
  • Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience within a complex organization
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and explain key business drivers
  • Experience translating complex financial information into clear and actionable insight
  • Confidence influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels, including non-finance audiences
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach and confidence working independently to identify solutions and drive improvements
  • Advanced Excel and strong presentation skills
  • Experience of commercial trading, yield management, marketing, or digital marketing would be advantageous
