Job Title: Commercial Senior Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid (Hatfield/London)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Senior Finance Manager to sit alongside central leadership teams as a trusted commercial finance partner, initially for a 6-month piece of work. In this role, you will take ownership of core financial processes while providing strategic cost challenge and commercial insights that directly support cash flow delivery across central functions.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with central function leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and commercial analysis.
- Lead monthly spend management reporting, ensuring clarity and precision for non-finance stakeholders.
- Facilitate the annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting updates for central operational units.
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities to support cash flow optimisation initiatives.
- Utilise modern EPM and BI platforms (such as Looker) to analyze performance metrics and streamline reporting.
- Offer collaborative guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members within the broader finance structure.

Requirements to be Successful

- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Functional Experience: Demonstrated history of partnering directly with central, corporate, or overhead functions.
- Process Focus: Proven expertise in monthly reporting, annual budgeting cycles, and forecasting.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Excel alongside practical experience with BI or corporate EPM tools.
