Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Finance Manager to provide finance leadership for our Away From Home (AFH) channel and growing Food Ventures business. Partnering closely with the AFH Commercial Director and cross-functional teams, this role will drive profitable growth through strategic business partnering, revenue growth management, innovation support, and commercial insight.
The role also includes line management and development of the AFH Finance Business Partner, helping to build capability and strengthen finance support across the channel.
Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Strategy
- Lead finance support for the UK AFH and Food Ventures businesses.
- Own Food Ventures AOP, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Partner with UK and Global teams to evaluate, localise, and commercialise innovation opportunities.
- Support key business initiatives through financial modelling, investment analysis, and recommendations.
- Partner with Innovation, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver growth initiatives.

- Lead RGM strategy for Food Ventures / AFH, including pricing, promotion, and mix optimisation.
- Support customer negotiations and Joint Business Planning with actionable commercial insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and return on investment.
Financial Leadership
- Own reporting, forecasting, and performance management across the Food Ventures portfolio, including ambient, chilled, frozen, and D2C channels.
- Lead financial assessment of innovation projects, including business cases and stage-gate reviews.
- Manage CAPEX governance and investment recommendations.
- Drive performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions.
- Coordinate reporting to UK and Global leadership teams.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Lead, coach, and develop the AFH Finance Business Partner (L7), fostering a high-performance and development-focused culture.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified finance professional with strong post-qualification experience.
- FMCG and commercial finance / RGM experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making and drive results through others.
- Excellent communication, prioritisation, and problem-solving capabilities.
