Senior Finance Manager
Stanford Real Estate Partners are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager for a large Real Estate asset management business based in Manchester. The role will report to the Finance Director and take responsibility for the management and growth of the finance team and statutory and internal reporting, as the business grows, the individual will be involved in refinancing, project accounting and transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and present monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing all month end closing processes
- Analytical review of key financial metrics
- Ensure service charge accounting up to date and fully reconciled
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity across finance ledgers
- Production and review of regular cash flow projections
- Key audit involvement, first point of contact with auditors, tax advisors and other service providers
- Review of VAT/CIS and other statutory compliance
- Review of quarterly distribution schedules
- Developing and mentoring members of the finance team to improve skills and performance
- Implementing process improvements to drive efficiencies

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with extensive experience within the real estate sector. You will have team management experience and will be able to work closely with senior directors. Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of Excel are a must.
