Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a pivotal leadership role, acting as the primary link between the CFO and the wider Finance team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for financial control, statutory reporting and partnership tax matters, whilst leading the team's day-to-day activities and driving a programme of continuous improvement and modernisation across Finance operations. This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained accountant who thrives in a technically demanding professional services environment and who is genuinely excited by the opportunity to shape the future of Finance through process improvement, systems development and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Control

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the Group and its constituent entities.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring robust controls and adherence to reporting timetables.
  • Maintain the integrity of balance sheet reconciliations and continually enhance financial reporting processes.

Statutory Accounts and External Audit

  • Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements for the Group and all relevant UK and European entities.
  • Lead the annual external audit process from planning through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards and assess their implications for the firm.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
