Senior Finance Manager (Transactional)
Location: Solihull; a flexible hybrid working model which supports you as well as enabling you to work collaboratively with your colleagues
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
Leading Transactional Finance teams, you will be specifically managing processing of payments in and payments out of the business. There will be a particular focus in automation and streamlining within and across the teams, to ensure processes and procedures are efficient and well controlled.
Demonstrating role model leadership and management skills, you will work cross-functionally in Finance.
The role reports directly into the Director of Finance and will engage with Directors and Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate completion of all customer payment processing across various systems and business lines
- Effectively managing suspense items and ensuring follow up for any corrective actions on variances or unknown items or transactions within the area
- Ensuring all customer payments in/out are fully reconciled daily and any discrepancies are investigated and cleared
- Management of credit balances in line with the local credit balance policy, ensuring compliance with Group and quarterly KPI reporting
- The daily review of Safeguarding reconciliation in line with policy
- Line management and development of Finance Managers, support and guide where relevant.

Skills & Attributes
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
- Sound understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Double Entry
- Have managed high volumes of payments
- Worked with third party suppliers, e.g. banks, payment providers
